Who is this course for?
This course is designed for those who are familiar with Photoshop and typography and want to take their skills to the next level. It is intended especially for those who have taken the other courses in my Book Cover Design Course Bundle, as the content builds upon itself to ensure you understand the entire process.
While I go over typography a little in this course, I go into in greater detail in my Typography in Book Cover Design course. This course, Designing Book Covers in Photoshop, focuses mainly on photomanipulation and exporting your files for print.
If you don’t have experience with Photoshop, I highly suggest you take my Photoshop Basics for Authors course before jumping into this course, as the content is meant for those are are already familiar with Photoshop. I highly recommend checking out my Book Cover Design Course Bundle to get a discount when purchasing all three courses.

Do I need experience in Photoshop to take this course?
Yes. This course is recommended to those who are already familiar with Photoshop. If you aren't familiar with Photoshop, I recommend taking Photoshop Basics for Authors or getting my Book Cover Design Course Bundle.
Will this course teach me how to create a book cover from start to finish?
Yes! I cover everything from doing genre research, to finding stock photos, and turning those photos into a gorgeous book cover. I also cover how to design cover wraps and export them for print, including paperback, hardcover case laminate, and hardcover jackets. However, I don't go in-depth with typography. If you want to learn more about that, please take my Typography in Book Cover Design course.

Yes! Just join the student-only Facebook group for this course. Once a week I post a thread where students can get feedback on their covers. You can also get feedback at any time from other students in the Facebook group.
